Presenting Daimler B...

Daimler B has been sold to Judy Houk of Indiana. In a bittersweet hand off, Daimler made his last appearance at the World's Championship in St Louis. He won the Amateur Under Saddle National title there and was shipped to his new home directly. He will be in the capable hands of Kathy Confliente.
This 6 year-old gelding is one of the most beautiful Friesians available today. Gifted with open motion and a superb headset, this horse has come into his own as a top Saddleseat horse. He has excellent propulsion from behind and above level motion in the front. Standing at 16.3 hands, he has a spectacular tail that drags the ground as well as the size and the presence to take an exhibitor to the winner’s circle. Daimler is a first premie. In addition to his beauty and talent, his disposition is absolutely the best and one that you would fall in love with immediately. Daimler was started by Melissa Moore of Sunrise Stables and has been in training with her for two years. Melissa initially showed Daimler to a double undersaddle victory in the fall of 2005 at the ASHAV show in Virginia where he was said to be by a couple of the judges to be " the best horse on the grounds" and he returned there in October to win a Grand National title with Annika Bruggeworth under saddle. Melissa Moore is highly regarded in the Saddlehorse world she and her sister Melinda were judges at the World Championships for the American Saddlebreds in Louisville, Kentucky in 2005. Daimler has only had the best in treatment since he was hand-picked in Holland by Annika out of 60 plus Friesian stallions and geldings. Daimler B. had joined the rest of the Friesian Season show stock in Ravena, New York. He showed all season in both Friesian classes and Open English Pleasure. Daimler peaked at the Syracuse Internationl Horse Show this year by winning an Open English Pleasure class out of 15 entries and the Championship of the same! Daimler was also competed and won a large class of Open English Pleasure horses at the Children's Benefit Horse Show in Pennsylvania. It was here that he became the "class clown" of the stable performing tricks and antics that both annoyed and amused everyone at the show!He is extremely bright and more lovable by the day! Congratulations to Judy Houk, Daimler will bring you years of joy as well as laughter.
