Last year the fabulous four year old Gooitzen fan Teakesyl, was shown under saddle by owner Annika Bruggeworth. He was shown In Hand by Carson Kressley and Annika. In all, Gooitzen captured 5 Titles at the East coast Friesian Championships. Gooitzen fan Teakesyl is trained by the legendary Jan Lukens.

This 5 year old gelding is a ster as well as a first premie. He has tremendous motion and propulsion and has proven to be a great Saddleseat mount. Gooitzen has a wonderful headset and presents a very fancy picture. He is currently in training with Jan Lukens of the reknowned Lukens Stables in upstate New York. He was chosen by Friesian Season for his Saddleseat attributes. He has great hair with a thick long tail and has a regal bearing, an upright neck and elegant ears. He is certainly suitable for Amateur rider or even a child and canters beautifully. He is in the winner’s circle consistently and has an incredible show record. after capping off an undeafeted 2005 show season, Gooitzen performed had a stellar season in 2006 but has seemed to peak this year He began the 2007 season by winning both of Bonnie Blue's Under Saddle Classes with Carson Kressley. Next stop was Devon Horse Show and Country Fair. Gooitzen won the Amateur Friesian Under Saddle class with Annika Bruggeworth aboard and won the Championship. Friesian Season's Klass fan Synaeda was the reserve in the Championship with Amateur and first time Friesian rider Traci Massero at the reins and the two Friesians left the ring in a double victory pass in perfect tandem. Next stop was the Children's Benefit Horse Show where Gootizen fan Teakesyl won both the Amateur Friesian under saddle class and the Championship. Gooitzen fan Teakesyl also recieved the Grand Championship at the Syracuse International Horse Show in New York in late June. Approaching the Finals in St Louis this year, Gootz is preparing to defend his title from 2006 where he won Five Northeast Championships both in- hand and undersaddle. he won the Champion of Champions In ---Hand out of 23 contenders including Stallions, Geldiings and Mares. He also won the Eastcoast Grand Champion Amateur Under Saddle Horse with owner Annika Bruggeworth in the irons. Gootzy" also has a winning personality and is a barn favorite.
