There has been great enjoyment derived from observing the process of the development of each chosen prospect’s natural abilities. During this growth period, Friesian Season continually seeks the perfect owner for each individual horse. The owners are primarily found among Saddleseat enthusiasts and usually those persons looking for a spectacular specimen for the showring. To truly appreciate each animal, the customer must be aware of the value of the training invested and the quality of each special horse. Of course every Friesian offered by Friesian Season is a superior quality animal from the onset. Occasionally however, when they have chosen a prospect that is more suited for dressage that individual has gone on to compete successfully in that discipline. In addition, as in the case of Ysbran fan Ferwalde and Klass fan Synaeda, they have achieved accolades at the Inspection. This is where Ysbran was awarded the Grand Champion Gelding of a keur shortly after he was sold by Friesian Season, as well as Klass winning best 3yr. old at the kuer in the Northeast in 2006. These are competitions judged by professional Judges from Holland, based on a strict criteria of confirmation and movement. These are of course the very attributes which Friesian Season bases their choices when initially choosing a prospect. It appears that the judges from Holland approve of their picks!
