Presenting Ypke fan Nijskou...

Originally shown under the name American Express, this young Friesian immediately showed great promise under saddle. He was expertly trained by Melinda Moore of Arrowhead Farm. His presence and stately carriage made him a favorite in the show ring. The television star and longtime equestrian, Carson Kressley showed “Amex” to a standing ovation at the Virginia Horse Center. He was purchased in April of 2004 by William McKibbage for his daughter Casey McKibbage. The family is from Oakfield, Wisconsin. Most recently Ypke Fan Nijskou competed at an “A” rated show and won not only the harness class but also the under saddle class as well. The McKibbages have also inquired about other Friesian Season prospects since the purchase of Ypke Fan Nijskou. Newsflash!!!! Ypke fan Nijskou showed his attributes off to a packed crowd at the Lexington Jr. League Horse Show and all eyes and cameras were on him. He drew a reserve vote from the judges in a competitve carriage class of mixed breeds, securing a favorite position for the Friesian horse in this division. congratulations to the Mc Kibbages, he looked fabulous!.
